Why Bought Followers Drop, and How Our 2-Year Refill Works
Why counts fall after delivery, how a refill is worked out with real numbers, the cases a refill doesn't cover, and what to send support when you claim one.
You order 1,000 followers, they arrive, and six weeks later your count is lower than it was. Almost everyone who buys social media services sees this sooner or later. The drop is normal. What decides whether you lose money is the refill policy behind the order, and most buyers only read that after something has gone wrong.
This guide covers why counts fall, how a refill gets calculated, and how to avoid the mistakes that make an order ineligible.
Why follower counts fall after delivery
Several different things can pull a number down, and only some are connected to your order.
Platforms remove accounts. Instagram has said publicly that it uses machine learning to find and strip out inauthentic activity, and other networks run clean-ups of their own. When an account disappears, so does its follow, on your profile and everyone else's. These sweeps often hit many accounts in the same week, which is why a drop can look sudden.
People and accounts also leave on their own. Accounts go inactive, get deleted or unfollow. That happens to every profile on earth, including ones that have never bought anything. If your account gained 40 followers from your own posts and lost 60 from ordinary churn, you can't see that split from the headline number.
Then there is the content side. A post that upsets your regular audience can cause unfollows. That has nothing to do with an order, though it lands on the same counter.
How a refill is calculated
A refill needs two numbers, and we record them from the moment your order starts.
- The start count is what the profile or post showed when the order began.
- The final count is the start count plus the amount you ordered.
A refill applies when the live count has fallen below the final count but is still at or above the start count. We top it back up to the final count.

Take a post with 200 likes where you order 1,000. The start count is 200 and the final count is 1,200. If it later shows 950, we refill the 250 that dropped.
Three more examples
| Start | Ordered | Final | Live count now | Result |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 5,000 | 1,000 | 6,000 | 5,700 | Refill of 300 |
| 5,000 | 1,000 | 6,000 | 6,400 | No refill. Nothing was lost. |
| 5,000 | 1,000 | 6,000 | 4,800 | No refill. The count is below the start, so the drop came from outside the order. |
The third row is the one that surprises people. If your live count sinks under the number you started from, more has gone than the order could account for, and we can't tell what part of it was ours. Likewise, if your account gained organic followers during the window, those gains can hide a drop, and we can't separate them.
When a refill doesn't apply
Every provider has exclusions, and they are worth reading before you pay. These are ours:
- The profile or post was made private or deleted, or the username or link changed.
- The platform removed or penalised the content for breaking its rules.
- Another provider was delivering to the same link at the same time.
- The growth came from other sources during the refill window, because it can't be told apart from the order.
Small ups and downs while an order is still delivering are normal too, and we don't count them as drops. Wait until the order shows as complete. You can see where it stands on the track order page.
Refill or refund: which applies
People mix these up, so here is the split. A refund is for an order we couldn't start or finish: you get the undelivered part back in full. Account-balance orders are refunded to your balance straight away, and card or other payments go back to the original method, or to your balance if you prefer.
Once an order has been delivered in full it can't be refunded. The refill covers drops from that point on, for 2 years from the day the order completed. That applies to every service we deliver: followers, likes, views, subscribers, comments, plays and the rest.
How to claim a refill
- Find your order reference. It starts with FZ and is in your confirmation email and on the track order page.
- Check the live count against your final count, and make sure the profile is public and the link hasn't changed.
- Open a ticket on the support page or email [email protected] with the reference and the link the order was delivered to.
- We check eligibility and reply, usually within a few hours. Refills usually start within 24 to 48 hours of a request being approved.
Five habits that keep you eligible
- Note your count just before you order. It gives you your own record to compare with ours.
- Leave the username alone for as long as you may want a refill, or tell support before you change it.
- Keep the profile public.
- Run one order per link at a time, and let it finish before you start the next.
- Don't use a second provider on the same link. Mixed delivery voids the refill with us.
It also helps to take a screenshot of your count on the day the order completes. Our records are what we work from, but a dated screenshot makes any conversation with support shorter, and it reminds you what the number was if you come back to claim a year later. Refill cover lasts 2 years, and few people remember a follower count for that long.
Comparing refill promises between sellers
Sellers advertise refill windows from 30 days up to "lifetime", and the headline length tells you less than the rules underneath it. A lifetime refill from a site that vanishes next year is worth nothing. When you compare, ask how the seller decides what dropped, whether the rules are published where you can read them, and whether you can claim from a logged-out order with only a reference number. Our competitor posts on the blog go through what other providers publish, if you want to compare.
The full wording is in our refill and refund policy. If you want to see how a provider handles delivery before committing, start with a free trial, and use the followers count tool to take your before and after readings.
